Privacy Policy

Effective October 19, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Dibbel Pro (“we,” “us”) collects through the Dibbel Pro software and the public pages we host for businesses, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Our role

For business accounts (owners and team members), we decide how account information is used. For information a business stores about its own clients and staff, we handle it on behalf of that business, following its instructions. If you are a client of a business that uses Dibbel Pro, please contact that business about your information. We'll help them respond.

2. What we collect

  • Account information: name, email, phone, profile photo, role, and sign-in security details. Passwords are stored only in protected, scrambled form by our authentication provider.
  • Business information: business name, address, contact details, logo, services, hours and settings.
  • Information businesses enter about their clients: names, contact details, addresses, notes, appointments, estimates, invoices, payments and messages.
  • Staff information businesses enter: schedules, time clock entries, time off and pay rates. Pay information is visible only to people the business allows.
  • Payment information: card details are entered directly into Stripe's secure fields. We never receive full card numbers. We keep only what Stripe returns, such as card brand, last four digits, expiry date and Stripe reference numbers.
  • Booking and chat submissions: what visitors type (name, contact details, message). For spam and abuse prevention we store a scrambled (hashed) version of the visitor's IP address, not the address itself.
  • Security and device information: sign-in sessions, device and browser type, IP addresses for active sessions, and audit logs of important actions.

3. How we use it

To provide and improve the Service; keep accounts secure and prevent fraud and abuse; process subscription billing; provide support; communicate with account owners about the Service; and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information, use it for advertising, or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We don't use third-party advertising or analytics trackers.

4. Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run Dibbel Pro, under agreements that limit how they use it:

  • Supabase: database, sign-in and file storage
  • Vercel: hosting
  • Stripe: payment processing for businesses, and our subscription billing

If we add a provider, for example for sending email, we'll update this list. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger or sale of the business (with notice to you).

A business's own team sees information according to the roles and permissions the business sets. Dibbel Pro staff can see inside a business's account only through a logged, time-limited support session.

5. Cookies and browser storage

We use only necessary cookies: to keep you signed in, remember which business you're viewing, and share your sign-in between our app and admin addresses. We store a few preferences in your browser (for example, whether a calendar panel is open), and the website chat stores a token so visitors can continue a conversation. We don't use advertising cookies.

6. How long we keep it

We keep account and business information while the account is active. When a business cancels and asks us to delete its data, we delete it within 30 days, except records we must keep by law (such as billing records) and backup copies, which are overwritten over time. Audit logs are kept for security and accountability.

7. Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), database-level access rules that keep each business's data separate, optional two-factor authentication, and audited, time-limited support access. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify affected users of a breach as the law requires.

8. Your choices and rights

You can view and update your account information in Settings. Depending on where you live (for example, California or Texas), you may have the right to know what personal information we hold, ask for a copy, correct it, delete it, or opt out of its sale or targeted advertising. We don't sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. To make a request, email support@dibbelpro.com. We'll confirm your identity and respond within 45 days. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our response. We won't treat you differently for using these rights. If you are a business's client, we may refer your request to that business.

9. Children

Dibbel Pro is a business tool and isn't directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their personal information.

10. Where information is stored

Dibbel Pro is operated from the United States, and information is stored and processed by our service providers, which may be in the United States or other countries.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. If a change is material, we'll notify account owners in the Service or by email before it takes effect.
